New Cameras
I picked up batch of new cameras from a charity shop the other day, looking forward to running film through them. I’ve done a little bit of research on the Brownie and I can convert it to medium format 120 film pretty easily. Stoked on the Halina too, although cheap and cheerful my other two [...]
New Cameras
Picked up a couple of new cameras the other day, charity shop bargains. The first is a Kodak EK160-EF that’ll probably be just for the camera shelf as it’s a really interesting design. The other camera is a 1960s Halina Paulette Electric with a really unusual lightmeter and manual lens. I’m going to put a [...]
Petri 7 S
I got given a beautiful vintage Japanese camera as an Easter gift and just got the first film back from the lab. The camera is a Petri 7 S and is from between 1963 and 1973 (so before I was born) and I took it out with me for the last week or so on [...]
First Film
I got the first roll of film I shot with the Nikon back, really pleased. I picked up some expired film in a little newsagents (my top tip of the day, by the way) and went for some beach walks in Eastney and Southsea yesterday and the camera and lens are nice to use and [...]
Nikon
I’ve been using Olympus since my first SLR but a little while back I picked up a Nikon FE2 body but never had the money and time to sort out a lens for it until this week. The lens just arrived so I’m off out to shoot a roll of film and have fun with [...]
Smena 8M
I picked up another new camera the other week, a Russian Smena 8M. Whilst on a sunny day bike ride around Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour I shot a roll of slide film to cross-process then opened the back before winding it back. Really happy with the results…
New Camera
I recently got a test roll of film back from the lab which I shot with a Halina 35X which I got off eBay for next to nothing. It’s a beautiful, little, heavy, fully manual camera that I’m looking forward to using more often. Here are some photos from that roll of film:
Colour 35mm in Holga
Shot a roll of colour 35mm film in my Holga a few weeks back when on a photo exploration of Emsworth.
Cross Processing
I picked a new cross processed film the other day, really happy with some of the photos.
Holga Multiples
I recently sent off an old medium format film I had shot with my Holga ages ago to get developed. I got it back yesterday and I’m really happy with some of the photos. The following are a few multiple exposures from a winter’s day skate in Sudbury, I must have been feeling the red [...]
